I believe Alec Baldwin is a disgrace to the United States and its citizens. He doesn't support our government, not the wishes of the majority of the people. Also, he DID say he would leave if Bush is elected, yet he's still here - must be the great living he can make here - in a free United States - that keeps him here. That, and the possibility for free speech with no repercussions. However, there are repercussions - I, and many others, will never go see another film that Baldwin appears in (if he even makes any more). The only way to wake these people up is to hit them in their bank accounts. Show Baldwin, and others like Streisand, Robbins, Sarandon, etc. that the proud, loyal, freedom-loving US citizens will not continue to support their disloyal activities. Refuse to buy anything they're associated with, watch any shows they appear on, and buy any products they endorse. Let companies know you will not buy their products if these people endorse them, nor watch any shows these companies sponsor if they continue to use these disloyal Americans as their spokespeople. These are small steps, but important ones, and if you care about a free America, you will take these steps and voice your disapproval of disloyal Americans.

People do not understand that when you take a pet into your home, it should be for a life-time.

Last Christmas I contacted several Animal rights organisations asking them to address the release of "102 DALMATIONS ."

After "101 DALMATIONS" was released every kid wanted a Dalmation puppy. Then people realized how much EXTRA care Dalmations needed - not wanting to be "bothered" many of these pups were either thrown out onto the street or dumped in shelters.

I warned them that with the upcoming release of "Dalmations 2" the same problem would arise. I was right.

Whenever a DISNEY animal film is released we need to produce PSA's. warning parents NOT to give into their children's desire of getting a "character" pet, unless they are ready to devote themselves entirely to that pet.

We need to get on the ball!

Idea for print/television PSA's dealing with the heartless "dumping" of devoted pets.

Why aren't there any attention grabbing, hard-hitting ad campaigns dealing with this ever increasing problem?

WE NEED AN AGRESSIVE AD CAMPAIGN:

People have many excuses for "dumping" their pets onto the streets.

1. We're moving, and our new place doesn't accept pets. 2. Our dog/cat isn't house-broken. 3. Our dog/cat is expecting a litter, we don't have room for a whole litter. 4. Whenever we leave the house our dog becomes distructive.

.....so on, and so forth......Is it ignorance or just plain cruelty?

The result is the same, and it's a long-time devoted family

pet which suffers.

I would like to present a script for a PSA . It deals with

excuse # 3. It's a standard :30 sec. commercial spot.

I also have a print ad that makes a strong statement against

the crime of dumping pets.

Let's face it...the type of person who would kick their pet onto

the streets is NOT the type of person who would seek out

literature on helping animals.

We've got to hit them while their sitting in their arm-chair, or

riding the subway.

On February 5, 1999, my son passed away. He was 14 years 9 months & 14 days. He's gone forever except from my heart and the depths of my soul. My son "Mikey" (Michael Shawn Parrish) was the fourth student of the 1998-1999 eighth grade class of the Kountze Middle School, located in Kountze, Hardin County, Texas to die leaving such a huge and unfillable void.

It is my hope to one day have this youth center built in the City of Kountze.

Celine Dion sang that she believes that the heart goes on and I do so believe this also because the heart signifies all the best that life has to offer. It somehow finds the strength to endure life’s worst. I have come to discover that the contents of the heart is by far the only thing that will last when we’ve passed on and somehow life finds a way to allow only that which is good to withstand the ceaseless marching of time. Our lives last only a short while, a whisper in an era, a mere breath in a season, a single heartbeat in an age. Many times we easily take the existence of our loved ones for granted, especially our children, because subconsciously we tell ourselves that they will always be there. Parents pass on before their children because it’s the natural order of things, however, life is about disorder and overwhelming odds. We take each day one day at a time and we perservere, adapt, overcome and improvise. Each of us try to do whatever we think is right or best at the time, and we make mistakes. We fail. But we learn and we pass on what we’ve learned to all who will listen in hopes that others will learn from our errors. I have but one bit of advice to pass on to all of those who will listen. And I ask you to listen with your hearts because your hearts will tell your minds that this is the right thing to do. Above all, except your God, place your family first. Careers, work, hobbies, none of these are moreso important than your families, than your children, your mothers, your fathers. They say that time marches on and it stops for no one but I assure you that when that beloved family member is gone forever it will most definitely stop for you and you will find that your career, your work, your hobbies had no meaning. You will remember all of the times that you could have spent just a little more time with that parent or that child and you didn’t. My message is not complex, convoluted, nor enigmatic. It’s simply this; Parents, love and cherish your children...........Children, love and cherish your parents.

To share the love that I have for my son with you I have attached the poem that I wrote and inscribed on the back of his headstone. The police code included (10-42) means ending a tour of duty. Also included is a police unit number that I had jokingly assigned to him at age 13. It reads as follows;

From the age of seven you lived the life of a cop. You walked the beat that many kids could not. You touched the hearts of everyone you knew, But before your goals were met an angel came for you. You completed your tour of duty in this mortal plane, And in the arms of an angel you left behind your pain. The memory of those wonderful, beautiful, soulful eyes Has moved so many to change their own lives. You believed that everyone should serve and protect, And you reached out to all without neglect. You carried the burdens that others could not, And smiled through the tears without a thought. You have the soul of a cop that will live on in so many ways, And you did it all in only 14 years, 9 months, 14 days. Now the beat that you’re walking is paved with gold. Your word was your bond and I know you’ll be there. I’ll be able to see that blissful smile and we’ll both radio dispatch 10-42. When that time comes I know we will both have done all we could do. From your mother, your brothers, your sisters and your dad. You’re the greatest son and brother that anyone could have ever had. Rest in Jesus’ loving arms and I’ll pray that this rule will be made, That God will always allow KPD Unit #100 to roller blade. This work gives me some sort of fulfillment in that I am refusing to allow the memory of my son and these other precious children die along with them so if you can't send an autograph just for me I would truly and sincerely appreciate something to be auctioned for the youth center. This work keeps me occupied and I'm so happy to see that I'm actually making progress. This is a very small town. Hateful, fanatical actor Alec Baldwin promises he'll leave the country if George W. Bush is elected president.

Baldwin's wife, poor Kim Basinger, says he's serious, Reuters reported Sunday.

"I can very well imagine that Alec makes good on his threat. And then I'd probably have to go too.

"Alec is the biggest moralist that I know," she said. "He stands completely behind what he says."

Really? If so, Henry Hyde should be worried.

Baldwin is infamous even in La-La Land for his wild-eyed support of a certain White House perjurer and rapist, and for his rant against Rep. Hyde of Illinois on the "Conan O'Brien Show" in December 1998.

"If we were in other countries, we would ... all of us together would go down to Washington, and we would stone Henry Hyde to death! We would stone him to death!" Baldwin shouted, tongue presumably in cheek, as the crowd of kooks cheered.

This call to violence, by the way, came from the same nut who nearly canceled a Clinton fund raiser when he found out that foie gras - which is made by force-feeding geese to enlarge their livers - was on the menu for all those limousine liberals.

Hyde, the House Judiciary Committee chairman, was not amused by Baldwin's rant. "I'm sickened by it.

"You have someone like that, talking in those terms, about killing your family? To kill my family because you disagree with me? To laugh about that? There are people out there, sick people, who are just waiting for a push," Hyde told the Chicago Tribune.

"Excuse me for not laughing. He wants my family stoned to death by a mob. Imagine if a Republican said such a thing."

I don't take your threat to leave the country if George W. Bush is elected seriously. You'd be a fool to do that on a pemanent basis. I don't think you're a fool.
